Incubation Programs

Transforming Concepts into Scalable Ventures

The Innovator’s Launchpad is the Hub’s flagship incubation program designed to help early-stage innovators transform their ideas into viable, scalable digital products.

Through a structured curriculum and hands-on mentorship, founders learn to refine their value propositions, validate markets, design user-centric solutions, and develop business models that can attract funding and partnerships.

The program includes:

  • Technical and Business Mentorship: Access to seasoned mentors across ICT, business strategy, and finance.
  • Investor-Ready Preparation: Guidance on pitching, product-market fit, and investment readiness.
  • Community and Collaboration: A peer learning environment with over 50 active innovators building solutions for national impact.
  • Post-Program Support: Top-performing startups gain access to extended incubation and funding linkages.
  • Ultimately, the Launchpad is where ideas evolve into sustainable enterprises — bridging creativity, technology, and real-world impact.

Building the Future of Connected Innovation

The IoT Product Development Program supports innovators building hardware-based and connected technology solutions. The program provides technical guidance, prototyping support, and access to the Hub’s fully equipped IoT Lab — featuring 3D printers, soldering stations, computing equipment, and testing tools.

Participants are guided through every stage of IoT product development, including:

  • Concept Design and Prototyping
  • Hardware and Firmware Integration
  • Data Collection and IoT Architecture
  • Testing, Validation, and Market Readiness

The goal is to accelerate Uganda’s hardware innovation ecosystem by turning local ideas into globally competitive IoT solutions — from smart agriculture and energy management to environmental monitoring and manufacturing automation.
